You should receive Quick Ship blinds within one to twelve weeks after ordering. Most other blinds ship in five to ten business days and should arrive within one to twelve weeks. Please refer to the Shipping & Production tab at the bottom of each product page for current production times. You may check the status of your order at any time by clicking on View Order Status. Once your order is shipped, we will provide tracking information.

*For oversized blinds (over 90″ wide) or shipments to rural or remote locations, delivery may take an additional 1-3 weeks. Custom shutters typically ship within 3-4 weeks after you place your order.

As well as accepting Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal, we also offer two Buy Now Pay Later options: (a) pay over four interest-free payments with Afterpay, or (b) pay over six to 24 months with Affirm.

All prices are in Canadian dollars. We are a Canadian company based in Montreal. There are also no duties, customs fees, or brokerage charges.

Following the confirmation of your payment, Babypaws Blinds will email you a confirmation and provide online tracking for your order. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number that will let you know when it will arrive. You can check the status of your order at any time by clicking on View Order Status.

After ordering, orders are usually sent to production within one business day (except for Quick Ship products, which are typically sent to production immediately). Please ensure the sizes and colors are correct before ordering. You may incur a fee for canceling or changing an order. We will do our best to make any necessary changes without incurring any additional charges if you contact us.

All orders are subject to GST, except those shipping to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Ontario, which are subject to HST. For orders going to British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec and Saskatchewan, provincial sales tax will be charged in addition to GST.

Before you buy a product, you can order samples so you can see how it looks and feels in your own home. You can order up to 12 free samples at a time to help you find the perfect material & color for you. Ordering samples is free of charge. If for any reason you’re not completely happy with your window coverings, just inform us within 30 days of receiving them and we’ll do everything in our power to remedy the situation. And if you remain unsatisfied, we’ll issue you a merchandise credit to use towards any other blinds* of your choosing.

Follow the same measuring steps as with other blinds, but take note of the following guidelines: For chain lifts, there should be a 7/8” distance from the window edge to the fabric on one side and a 3/8” distance on the opposite side, resulting in a total of 1 ¼”. For spring lifts, both sides should have a ~7/8” distance, totaling to 1 ¾”. All inside and outside mount Roller Shades & Solar Shades will be customized according to your specified size and tip-to-tip. Keep in mind that for shades with chain lifts, the fabric width will be 1 ¼” less than the total measurement for inside/outside mount, while for spring lifts, it will be 1 ¾“ less. To ensure maximum coverage for outside mount shades, we suggest adding to their width. For example: if you want an actual fabric width of 64”, then order a size of 65 ¼” wide x 60” high for an outside mount shade with a chain lift at dimensions of 64” wide x 60” high.

Our blinds are easy to install, whether you’re an experienced DIY home renovator or a beginner. All you need is a screwdriver, drill, drill bits, tape measure and pencil.

The old custom blinds were deducted at the factory, so you won’t get the exact fit you need when ordering new ones. Make sure you measure your windows correctly before you order.

If your window measurements fall between eighths of an inch, round down to the nearest 1/8″ for width and round up to the nearest 1/8″ for height. We recommend watching our video on how to measure blinds for more information. Width: 40-1/16″ would round down to 40. Height: 40-1/16″ would round up to 40-1/8″.

The depth of your window determines the type of installation possible for your blinds or shades, either as an inside or outside mount. The “minimum flush-mount depth” refers to the ideal depth needed to fully mount the product into the window recess, creating a seamless appearance with your wall. On the other hand, the “minimum inside-mount depth” is the flat space required to install the product within the window itself. If your window does not meet this minimum requirement, an inside mount is not feasible. Similarly, if it only meets the minimum inside-mount depth but not the flush-mount depth, the product will stick out from the frame and opening. It’s important to review these specifications before purchasing blinds; you can find them in the “Specifications and Installation” chart at the bottom of each product page.

The difference between inside mount and outside mount is the way in which the blind or shade is hung. An inside mount is attached to a window sill so that the blinds or shades are flush with the wall, while an outside mount is attached to a wall or door and extends beyond the window sill.

The openness percentage of a solar shade determines the level of light and view it allows. A higher percentage means more light and a clearer outside view, but less protection against UV rays. Conversely, a lower percentage results in less light and a limited outside view, but greater UV blockage. For example, a 10% openness blocks 90% of UV rays while a 1% openness blocks 99%. The main factor that sets real and faux wood blinds apart is their price. While authentic wood blinds are constructed from 100% basswood, faux wood options use durable PVC vinyl. Many faux wood finishes imitate the look of real wood, providing the same aesthetic for a lower cost. Additionally, these products offer increased resistance to moisture, heat, humidity, and scratches, and can also protect against harmful UV rays that cause fading and warping when exposed to sunlight. However, due to their materials, faux wood blinds are typically heavier than wooden ones. This weight should be considered when choosing blinds for larger windows as it may affect how easily they can be raised and lowered.

Our line of cordless top down bottom up shades operate on a single set of route bands, or covered cords in the case of two-fabric options, connected to both the top and bottom rails. Looking for a balance of natural light and privacy? These shades make it easy – simply lower from the top while keeping the bottom shut. Need complete privacy? Raise the middle bar to cover the whole window. Want a clear view outside? Utilize the cordless lift system to raise the shade from the bottom. The colours on laptop or smartphone screens may vary, so it’s best to order free samples before purchasing blinds. Keep in mind that the natural grain of wood can lead to slight differences in stained wood products. Additionally, dye lots change frequently which can result in minor variations in colour when you receive your actual product. If it has been over a month since you ordered samples, we recommend getting another sample of the same colour to guarantee the exact colour you want for your blinds. And if you’re ordering multiple treatments for one room, we strongly suggest ordering them all at once to ensure they match from the same dye lot.

Our window coverings can be upgraded to motorized versions so you can operate them with your hands. We offer (a) motorized wands, (b) programmable remote controls, and (c) smart hubs for wi-fi operation (including setting timers and schedules) with a smartphone or voice control through Alexa. Motorized blinds are available at our store.

With most of our motorized blinds, you can operate multiple shades at once. Remotes can be preprogrammed at the factory to operate multiple blinds separately or together.
